We are presently seeking SAP Project System specialized in SAP technologies for our Mumbai office.
Designation
SAP PS - Lead / Associate Consultant.
Expected Deliverables (Minimum)
Execute, along with the Customer key users detailed design and implementation activities
Help customer team in compilation of Business Process Document in line with best-practices, ensuring compliance with our quality standards
Support the customer team members in various activates of implementation & Production support through hand-holding and periodic knowledge transfer sessions
Guide the customer team members in configuration. testing data transition and training related activities
Generate knowledge and execute customization, integration and testing activities
Initiate and resolve functional and integration issues through cross module teams
Support standardization initiatives
Report progress status to Project Manager and other members in the project team
Support development of to-be processes
Finalize and validate data migration strategy and affirmative action plans
Coordinate with cross module consultants in developing training material and effective execution of key user training.
Participate in identifying gaps and propose solutions in line with best industry practices
Participate in the development of functional specifications for the interfaces and enhancements
Must take on additional sub project responsibilities that may be required at various times during the project implementation like identifying reporting needs, conducting integration testing, assisting in data migration, conducting end-user training, defining end-user roles & profile generation etc.
Desired Profile
Functional Background:
· Minimum 3-5 years of functional experience in Managing Projects in Reputed Construction/Roadways/Railway Or R&D Outfits
· Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of various facets of Project Management Cycle like PERT,CPM,WBS,Auditing & Recommendation, Human Interaction management, Approach reviews, defining the problem, weighing options, choosing a path, implementation and evaluation etc
SAP Project experience:
· Must have Min 2-3 full-cycle implementation for lead Consultant and at least 1 full-cycle (for Associate Consultant) experience in SAP PS is desirable.
· Lead Consultants must have played a role of lead consultant in at least one project.
· For both the positions one implementation project should have preferably been in my SAP Enterprise Version 4.7
. Ability to understand the business process requirements and to execute configuration, Integration and testing activities of the PS functionalities like Standard & Operative WBS, Standard & Operative Networks, Cost Planning (Cost Schedule, Cost Element, Activity Input, Unit Costing, Material Planning at Network, Material Reservation for WBS element, Project Stock, External Services Management (Service Specifications), Material Receipt / Issue / Transfer, Service Acceptance, Structure/ Cost/ Material/ Progress/ Payment/ Schedule Reports, Budget Control for projects by means of AVAC at WBS element.
· in SAP system, inline with defined business requirements & best-industry-practices
· Good knowledge of relevant SAP organization structure elements and implications to design & transactions across modules
· Good Knowledge of PS functionalities in SAP 4.6C or higher product, understanding of potential gap areas and ability to suggest work-around solutions
· Certified/trained in mySAP
Soft Skills:
· Good Communication & presentation Skills-Fluency in English is essential
· Ability to understand module level issues/conflicts and help resolve them appropriately. Ability to escalate cross module issues when appropriate and solicit resolution and obfuscate and avoid possible delays
· Ability to manage customer expectations within the boundaries of the project.
