Candidate Profile

Candidate should be
Qualification: B.E. (Electronics/Computer Science)

Work Experience: Min:5 YRS Max: 7 YRS.

Required skills

· 5+ years of experience in software testing

· Hands-on experience and good knowledge of databases and ETL tools

· Manual testing experience, an understanding of Best Practices and principals of testing

· Experience with various testing methodologies

· Experience testing Web-based applications (preferably Internet-based)

· Some experience with automated testing tools

· Basic SQL query skills, understanding of database schemas

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· A BTech or BE in Chemical Engineering is preferred

Responsibilities include:

· Write test scenario, cases, and data for manual testing of the application

· Write SQL query to compare dashboard result with backend data.

· Assist with implementing an automated functional/regression test architecture in the near future

· Help mentor other testers in testing and Best Practices

· Reporting regular status of testing

· Recording and tracking defects through Clear Quest

· Working with testers, Business analyst, DBAs and developers to help solve issues in the application, network, and environment

Salary Rs 6,00,000 PA - Rs 8,00,000 PA
