Position : Quality Assurance Manager

Location : New Plant at Anand (Gujarat) (initial 2 – 3 months would be at Mumbai for Induction and Training).

Job Scope

Handle all QA issues with products.

Responsibility for the introduction of global quality systems. Handle all QA issues.

Track and report Quality KPI’s on a monthly basis (use Corporate format)

Project Leadership for the implementation of “upstream” corporate defined projects, e.g. Customer Complaints, Products Code Dating, etc.

Manage Starting Material Suppliers, Packaging Suppliers, Contract Operations, Warehouses, etc. within to ensure that QA Standards & QA Systems are in place.

Collaborate with Asia Pacific RTC and Packaging in the development / implementation of Product/Packaging Specifications.

Analyze product Non-Conformity & Apply corrective measures

Analyze Quality Control Data & suggest improvement plans.

Manage Consumer Comments

Get qualified to do an Assessment to qualify Raw Material and Packaging Material Suppliers.

Organization Setup

Is part of the local organization and is located on site with reporting line to Plant Manager.

Work closely with the FHP Director of Corporate Quality Management to establish and maintain “Global QA Systems” (dotted reporting line).

Candidate Profile

Objectives

Be able to help in resolving all current and ongoing Quality Issues.

Help in the development and execution of Global Quality Systems.

Implement Global Quality Goals.

Prerequisites (Ideally fulfills all of these)

Managerial level with al least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment

Has self driven Leadership skills capable of delivering key expectations

Has credibility within the organization

Can resolve various quality related issues due to a high level of experience

Project Leadership Qualities and a “Can Do” attitude

Some background of Quality Systems (GMP, ISO, 5S, 6 Sigma, etc.)

Is fluent in English speaking and writing

Good people skills

Able to work with cross functional organizations and in teams.
