We have urgent opening for Sr. Executive / Manager-Design – Mechanical.

Experience - 4 to 10 years

Job Description

· To lead the mechanical engineering work and project execution of the mechanical discipline in Ship power Projects

· To ensure that the discussions, resolution of queries, managing FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests mechanical works in the project are executed according to contract specifications and design directives.

· To plan the work with total cost/quality in focus.

· To follow-up progress and costs of mechanical works and supplies of the project.

· Prepare QAP, drawing control list and modify drawings

· Co-ordinate tasks and actions with Ship Power Technology, Consultants, supply management, sub-suppliers and WIO teams.

· Customer interactions including technical /Trials)

· To review offers from vendors for technical requirements of project and relapse purchase requisitions.

· Preparing/Regularizing / updating / modifying PRs, POs in SAP system

· Perform or co-ordinate the arrival inspection of the project equipments, components in the delivery destination.

· Co-ordination for vendor activities at WIO-Khopoli as needed

· To ensure documentation requirements are fulfilled as per contractual obligations – certificates, operation manuals, parts catalogues from suppliers

· Travel for type testing, inspections, critical transportation / logistics needs

· Report, evaluate and mitigate risks foreseen in the project.

· Review and Control change in scope of Wartsila suppliers and contractors

· Participate in client negotiations and lead the discussions regarding mechanical matters.

Salary Rs 3,00,000 PA - Rs 7,00,000 PA

Need Chief Design Engineer- Piping GAS Power Plant

Job title: Chief Design Engineer- Piping GAS Power Plant

Education: BE in Mechanical

Experience: 8-10 yrs, (For diploma candidates 12+ yrs) in cycle power Plant Piping

Location: Mumbai

Accountabilities:

Ø Effective utilisation of resources

Ø Ensure efficient design methods and tools

Ø Integration and connectivity of designed products

Ø Manage variations from time schedule

Ø Right quality and functionality of designed products

Ø Fulfilment of stated requirements

Main responsibilities:
Ø Excellent planning, scheduling, coordination and people management skills.

Ø Design & Detailed engineering activities.

Ø Conversant with International Codes and Standards.

Ø Capable of independently handling FEED & Detailed Engineering Design Projects.

Ø Mentor and manage 10-15 persons

Ø Should have the experience of estimation and planning and execution of the project.

Ø Should have the experience in piping of HP, LP, and MP for STG and Balance of plant.

Ø Should have the experience in Gas Turbine Generator simple cycle and combined cycle.

Ø Should have the experience in Preparation of equipment layout and nozzle orientation.

Ø Should have the experience in Preparation of piping isometrics, piping general arrangement drawings.

Ø Selection of standard type of support and their function.

Ø Preparation of support sketches.

Ø Basic Knowledge in Stress analysis module – Ceaser-II./Rohr2

Ø Take care of own competence and team training

Ø Knowledge about international standard EN/DIN/BS/ANSI/IS and international codes is required.

Ø Expertise in piping engineering using 3 D tools

Ø Coordination of sub-cons and with other disciplines and internal customer

Ø Ensure design and deliverable quality

Ø Development responsibilities: To develop the way of working according to the Quality Management System and way of working guidelines.

Ø To develop services and customer relations in general.

Ø To develop competences and way of working especially regarding design tools and methods.

Ø Establishing & implementing good practices of design.

Require Stress Engineer(ROHR)

Job Responsibilities:

Experience in Piping design and modelling

Worked on PDMS and Piping stress analysis using ROHR 2,

CAESAR II of POWER PIPING of STATIC, DYNAMIC,

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS And Auxiliary analysis likes API

610, NEMA SM23.WRC 297.

Experience in Design of piping systems, knowledge of piping

codes and standards, preparing piping layouts and design of

piping support systems including spring hangers for steam,

water and gas services.

Support modelling using support standards.

Incorporation of comments, coordination with other

department.

Knowledge about international standard

EN/DIN/BS/ANSI/IS required.
